day 2 26-11-13

today we tok a tuk tuk to the art and caft work shop. we saw artists carving wood and other objects into pretty little ornaments, such as elephants. we then took a bus to the silk farm, where we saw the whole process of the making of the silk, from the very start wih the silk bugs making the silk to the end product of the scarves and other items made out of silk. here we also saw that all the silk products were hand made by women using machines made out of wood. we then took a tuk tuk again to the hotel to have luch on the roof. then after lunch we took a tuk tuk again to the pottery class, where we learnt how to make cups and bowls from a ball of clay using the spinning wheels. we made 3 items and got to get one fired to take home. after the fun pottery class we headed back to the hotel to freshen up before dinner at te green star. we all tried frogs legs most of us loved them. the resturant is actually owned by an Australian and his cambodian wife. and then we took a tuk tuk back to he hotel.
